AMD 4

Fur meine vierten AMD, ich chose to plannen ein Reise zu Deutschland durch using ein Deutsch website.

Meine flugzeug ist leaving von Detroit, MI und arriving an Berlin. Ich kaufe meine ticket fur sechshundertvierundsiebsig dollars! Das ist viele Geld, und es ist only ein "one way" ticket! Ich reise im Mai und return  after ein Woche.

Ich ware Lufthansa Airlines fliegen. Die airline hat ein gut reputation, so ich bin worried nicht.

Wann ich bin im Berlin, ich will der remains von der Berlin Wall besuchen. Ich finde es sehr interessant. Ich auch denke der Brandenburg Gate ware sehr interessant zu sehen.

Auch, ich will Deutsch sprechen mit die Leute von Berlin. Das ist ein gut way die language lernen.

Das ist meine blog fur die Woche. Ich bin holflich das ich kann ein Tag machen meine Reise ein real one!

AMD 4 Amanda Victory

Für AMD 4 habe ich ein Deutsch Restaurant im Maryland gegessen. Das Restaurant heiβt Biergarten Haus, und war eigentlich in D.C. Die Speisekarte war lange, es hat Vorspeisen, Wurstplatten, Schnitzelgerichte, Vegetarisches, Hauptgerichte, Sandwiches, und Suesse Nachspeise. Ich hatte Bratwurst denn ich bin nicht abenteuerlich. Meine Schwester hatte Weinerschnitzel und sagt es war sehr ekelhaft. Sie hat Kalbfleisch nicht gemocht. Das Restaurant war groß und beschäftigt aber der Kellnerinnen war nett und freundlich! Das Essen hat nicht echt geschienen, denn niemand war da Deutsch. Insgesamt war es spaß, und denke ich Deutsch Essen mögen.

AMD 4 - Jenna Malzahn

Für AMD 4, habe ich zu Deutsch Menschen auf Florida zugehört. Over spring break I traveled down to Naples, Florida where there happened to be a surprising amount of German tourists as well. It seemed that for the majority of the week I was surrounded with German speakers because they were honestly everywhere, including the beach, pier, and downtown shopping area. It became a fun game that my friend and I played in trying to casually eavesdrop and understand what they were talking about. Assuming that they were all natives speakers it was usually incredibly difficult trying to understand and comprehend what they were conversing about and we were often left with only an inkling of a guess from the words that we picked up. The most common were "das Wetter", "heiß", "der Wellengang", "einkaufen", und "die Kleidung". Other words that we caught but couldn't decipher we tried to look up and that list included the word for dolphin "die Delfine", painting "das Gemälde", und jewelry "der Schmuck". Towards the end of the week I did feel more confident in my abilities to decipher and understand what was generally being talked about in German between the tourists, as it became easier to follow along with their fast-paced conversing in relation to the slow-paced videos we usually hear in class. The fact that my friend and I also decided to try to mostly converse with each other in only German helped substantially as well because it focused my mind on the German language more and how to communicate through what I have learned so far. Our conversations were on the more basic side, usually spanning from the weather to shopping for clothes but it was extremely rewarding to hold a conversation for a while and I feel like it helped a lot in my ability to retain what we have learned.

AMD 4, Ian Propper

For AMD 4 I played Dishonored Auf Deutsche. In the game I went to a mascarade ball. There were three women with the last name Boyles. One in a Weiß mask, one in a Schwartz mask, and one in a Rot mask. I had to figure out which one was the real ladz boyle bz talking to the party guests. I was happz to understand the mission, but conversation with the guests was difficult

however some concellation priyes, i got one of the Boyles to use hatte, i believe we have not met.

Additionally, after listening in on two characters for about ten minutes, I finally herd a relative pronoun, yay!

However, Im not entirely sure what this man said.

AMD 4- Callie Chappell

Ich habe Ein Deutsches Requiem  von Brahms gehört. Wann ich war fünfzehn Jahre alt, habe ich nach Deutschland gereist mit einem internationalen Chor. Wir haben Ein Deutsches Requiem gesungen, aber ich verstehe nicht die Wörter. Jetzt, verstehe ich mehr Wörter. Die Muzik ist schön aber es ist dunkel. Wir haben "Denn alles Fleisch es ist wie Gras/ und alle Herrlichkeit des Menschen / wie des Grases Blumen./ Das Gras ist verdorret / und die Blume abgefallen."gesungen. Now that I understand the words, I think that it is especially interesting how the cadence of the piece carefully follows the lyrics. This stanza is from the second movement, a dirge-like piece with lines, spoken in German, that follow a downward feel. Brahms hat Ein Deutsches Reqiuem für seiner Mutter gescrieben wann sie wäre getotet. In Deutschland, allen Leuten haben das Leid gewusst, und allen Leuten haben gesungen. Sehr schön.

AMD 4

Für AMD 4, ich nicht viel tun.  In den ferien, habe ich  als "babysat" arbeitete unser Deutcher Nachbar Kinder.  Die Kinder sprechen nur Deutsch.  Es war eine tolle Erfahrung, weil ich sprechen geübt.  Die Nacht haben wir einen Film 'Garfield' in deutsche sprache gesehen.  Ich war in der Lage zu verstehen, das war cool! Es macht spaß zu sprechen Deutsch nicht in der Schule.  Ich hoffe es bald wieder.
